Studying Conflict in the Information Environment

The information environment is a contested space. Information competition occurs at all levels from the domestic to the international, and across interest lines and ideologies. Often, this information competition leads to pollution of the information environment, attempts to increase control over it, and real-world consequences, including violence. The Information Environment Project works to understand the relationship between information competition, conflict and governance.
